red tint the corners of monitor

I got a LG 29UC88-B monitor recently and i noticed that there is a red tint in the corners of the monitor when the whole screen is black (and on). Not sure why this is as im not very good with monitors and displays. http://imgur.com/a/6RFlJ

That's backlight bleed. Not much that you can do about it other than attempt to get a new one.
