Red tint to Samsung monitor

This monitor I have had bad caps and so I just soldered in some new ones, no big deal. Replacing the caps fixed one problem, but there is still another. Whenever I turn the monitor on, there is a red tint to the screen. BUT, if I reset the color settings for the monitor, it works without a problem. Same thing happens again if I turn the monitor off with the main switch on the back. From the research I've done, it seems like there's a problem with the memory on the board inside the monitor. This makes sense because for all my other monitors the settings stay the same if I turn it off, but for this they change every time I turn it off. It's especially odd because the contrast went up to something like 176 even though the max it should be is 100. Any suggestions to fix this?

Do you save the settings?
And if you are, maybe you should keep on resetting your settings each time you turn on your monitor.
This might be annoying but maybe you can live with it.

I have this same problem with my HP monitor, but instead of red it is green.

Well, to my knowledge, saving the setting is just exiting the menu. That's how it's always been for me. And yes I can live with that, but if I can fix it, I'd love to know how.
