Red volume item in center of screen

I can't remove red Volume panel from center of screen, can anyone advise on course of action.

Do a web search for that based on your laptop vendor, it's most likely one of their utility programs you need to turn off.

If it's the volume indicator/OSD per the manufacturer's software, remove that software, download it from the manufacturer again, and reinstall it.
