Red x box in outlook email

When I open an email the picture is replaced by a red x in a small black box

Is it Outlook 2007? If so go to Tools, Trust Center then untick 'Dont download pictures automatically...' then close and open Outlook.

Maybrick has got it correct perchance the rest on here didn't have a clue. This also works for Outlook 2013 and will work for the soon to be release, Outlook Port 2015.
