[SOLVED] Red X next to Audio

I just changed out my CPU for a new one and now I have a red X next to my sound icon in the bottom right. It says that plugged in. I tried updating NVIDIA sound in the device manager.

Reinstall windows by formatting your hard drive and install clean. I am always amazed at the people who think they can drop in new hardware and windows will just automatically work properly it won’t

At the very least install the proper chipset drivers again
