Question Redgear wirless pro controller does not get recognized in PC games

i just bought redgear wireless pro controller which came with USB receiver , i plug the USB receiver into the PC and then the controller gets paired with it. i can see the device "xbox controller " in the settings. i can also open the game bar using the controller on the PC, but when i launch the game (for example PUBG PC lite) , i cannot control anything using the controller . i would have to use the keyboard/mouse .

any suggestions ? i already have installed the drivers on my windows 10 , although it was not needed but still, what the heck.

As far as I'm aware, PUBG on PC doesn't support controllers.

The only way to get support for controller is through other methods.
Google can be your friend at this point in time for trying those methods out, but mileage may vary.
