Question Reduce video card´s performace to save energy ?

Hi, recently I got a RTX 3080 with nvidia studio drivers to use in programs like substance painter, photoshop, maya or redshift and maybe for games ocasionally .Some days I use 100% cpu programs like zbrush, Can I down reduce the performace of my videocard when I dont need it. ?? I guess nvidia´s driver do it automatically, but maybe there are better solutions..

The system, and all of its parts, only uses what it needs at the time.

you can use msi afterburner and set a custom fan curve but since that will fry the card. the easiest way to do it is to do workloads that are at low resolutions as that causes the card to idle and therefore not use up much power. 720 ultra in games idles a 1050 ti.
