I have 8 GB(2 x 4GB in dual channel mode) of corsair vengeance @ 1600Mhz
installed with i5 3570k on MSI H77MA MOBO with WIN 7 32 bit.

I don't have a dedicated graphics card and via bios settings are on 128MB.

The PC is extremely slow at boot and resource monitor displays the following stats:

Hardware reserved : 4784 MB
In use: 1444 MB
Modified: 60 MB
Standby : 1370 MB
Free: 533 MB

kindly tell me how to reduce hardware reserved memory

With 32 bit Windows you can maximum have 3.4GB of RAM out of which certain portion will be reserved for the Windows as well. Your only option is to upgrade the Windows to 64 bit so that you can avail 8GB of the RAM though you won't get full 8GB because certain portion of the RAM is reserved for the Windows. Hopefully it will help

will it require a window format or it can be upgraded simply by the disk?
