Reference blower style GPU in low airfow Cases?

I am looking at doing my first itx build, but the cases in the style I like seem to have next to no fans. My question basically is would it make more sense to get a reference style (blower) GPU if you are building an itx case case as the GPU heat would go outside the case? If not do you have a recommendation of a decent case that isn't a cube (max cost $120).

If your case has minimal airflow that is typically where the blower styles are better, to a point.
While they dump the hot air out of the case, they do still need enough cool air coming in to keep their temps down.

The case will have a 120mm intake fan and the CPU will most likely be cooled by an AIO

In that case a blower would work well (depending on the case), since the AIO would dump the hot air out of the case as well, meaning the gpu shouldn't overheat
