So, because of various issues, and general "Windows gunk" that has built up (side note: an Arch Linux dual boot is looking extremely attractive right now), I've decided that a reinstall of Windows 10 is the way to go.
The only problem is, I don't know whether I should do a FULL, complete, reformat and reinstall of 10, or if I should just do a non-destructive one.
The majority of my files and such are located on secondary HDDs that I can just unplug while everything goes down. Most all "Libraries" are located away from C drive. The only things that would need reinstalling afterwards would be drivers, Skype, and maybe a plugin for Sound Forge 10. Other "basic" things would need to be reinstalled as well, but the majority of my programs, files, etc. are all on secondary HDDs.
I'm thinking that because my current Windows 10 install came from an upgrade from 8.1 that a complete reinstall with a Win10 install USB that's already made is the way to go. However, is it warranted? Would a non-destructive one work just as well?
Thank you!
