[SOLVED] Reformatted SSD

Solution
I cannot open these and I am not able to save anything to this drive. What should I do? Thanks.
Create a custom folder on the drive and save your data in this custom folder.

Also - you may need to adjust file/folder access permissions on the drive.
Right-click on drive D : ,
choose properties/security and
add full access permissions to your user.

Thank you. I already tried the security options. Gave myself all access and still can't delete those folders. Reformatted twice. Those folders aren't there but then suddenly pop up after about 5 minutes. I don't want anything on this drive. I want it fresh.

You don't have to touch those folders.
They are created automatically, because you have selected alternate location, where new content is being stored.
Settings/System/Storage/Change where new content is stored.

Whatever that 845mb part of the drive is, I cant get rid of.
845MB is recovery partition. Disk management doesn't allow deleting it. You have to use diskpart for this.

what the drive? use the manufacturer secure erase to clean it
So I went into cmd and selected that 845mb part of that drive and deleted it. Then merged it with the other partition on that drive and reformatted. That seems to have fixed my problem.

Just struck me as odd as my other ssd did not do this. Is it a Sandisk thing?

is how you setup your windows.

are you sure your system is working? cause it doesn't sound like it only for storage
lol yes my system is working fine. This was an extra drive I had laying around. Plugged it in and that happened. Mind you I have 2 other drives in the system and 3 others that I formatted for my wife's desktop. This did not happen with any of the other drives. I wiped via diskpart and took this drive out. I don't trust it lol.
