So it's been about 1 year since i built my rig. This is my 1st one with OS on a SSD and a 1TB for all my other stuff. If i wipe the SSD and install OS on it again will my 1TB get wiped or anything? should i unplug it? and also, wont my 1TB have alot of junk files and maybe virus's on it that will still slow the computer down after a reformat?
Thanks,

Hey there, yones12!

You can wipe the SSD without any problems or concerns. You should however unplug the HDD just in case.
Leave only the SSD in and re-install your OS from scratch, then plug the HDD back and you'd have a fresh new OS with all your old files. Do you have any software on the HDD? If you do, you can simply reinstall the apps and programs once you have your fresh install up and running. This shouldn't cause any slowness on your computer.

Keep me posted if you have more questions! :)
