Question Refresh rate issues with 4k tn monitor causing 2-3 sec blackout when set to 60hz

Hey All

Initially posted this at the wrong end of another thread - had a look to see if anyone had answered a similar situation but no, so here goes.

Have been using a new pc rig for 4 weeks with no problems but over last 2 days the monitor began to black out for 2-3 sec before resuming display. Despite it being a new build and with clean install, I wiped my previous attempt and installed fresh incl drivers to no avail.

Issue arises when running at 60hz but not when set at or below 30hz...

The graphics card is fine insofar as it works normally in gaming and for desktop work - no lag or undue noise - every other aspect of this PC is working fine.

Any help, advice, constructive critique or harmless ribbing for being a noob welcome.

Are you connected via displayport?
If not, try that.
