i have the dell e2414h for a monitor. i heard somewhere that it will not be able to go over 60fps. is that true and does a refresh rate of 60hz put me at any other disadvantage

see im building a pc and wondering if i would need to upgrade my monitor as well
-Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
-MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
-Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card
-Deepcool Tesseract SW-BK Black Window Mid Tower Case
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 120mm CPU Cooler
-Corsair CX Series 600W Power Supply
side note, is my build okay?

1. The Krait is frakin gorgeous but a poor performer, upgrade to the Gaming 5 (MSI or Gigabyte) which kicks tail beating several $300 MoBos

2 The Strix is among the weaker 970s. MSI and Gigabyte are the way to go. Match the card to the MoBo for ease of tech support.....Note the Giga at 12+ inches doesn't fit in many cases. read the nitty gritty about VRM phases, chip cooling, chokes, caps and you'll see why in every review the MSI / Giga break 1500 Mhz and the EVGA / Asus does not

3. Avoid any Corsair PSU with a "C" in the model name..... think of the "C" stranding for "crappy capacitors". You can get a SLI capable 750 watt B2 EVGA for the same price.

4. If you can afford a 144 Hz monitor, I'd grab it.

Can't find anything about the case.... reviews or spec data as to what fits and what don't.

I know you have read on the forums how great the Hyper 212 is but while it is a "great budget cooler", it's certainly not a great cooler when compared with mid priced coolers ($60 ish). The Hyper 812, Phanteks PH-TC14PE will get you another 7 - 10C.

The mobo suggested is over my budget
Since I live in Canada the pricing can be very different
As for the cpu cooler
I had just happened to find it online best buy (Canada) and thought it would work
