Question Refresh rate question

If a monitor supports higher refresh rate at lower res does that mean it will probably run fine at native overclocked. For example 75 hz at 1280x1024 but 1920x1080 60hz.

I would not go lower on resolution, especially for that incremental of an increase. If it's a 60hz monitor, you can try using nVidia Control Panel to bump the refresh one hertz at a time, most monitors can go 5-10 higher with no problems.

That was my question is it more likely to overclock a monitor to 75hz when it supports that refresh rate at lower resolutions
