[SOLVED] Refresh rates and resolution

I have a 240 hz monitor and when i go on nvidia settings to change the hz my resolution (full hd) it doesn't state native next to it and the refresh rates available are max 60.
There is another option under it which is full hd resolution when it doest state native where i can enter the 240 hz there.
Is it fine not to be on the native resolution but still on the full hd?
