Would it be a good idea to use REFS over NTFS for you main SSD? What about your SSD for games and/or storage? https://www.iperiusbackup.net/en/re...l kept as,large storage and high availability has a chart, i'm not sure what all these features do, so not sure tell which is better.

With windows 10, according to the comparision chart from wikipedia here ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_10_editions#Comparison_chart ), i'd think most would conclude that enterprise is the best for windows 10.

For windows 11, it seems to be slightly more confusing since i don't know a place that shows everything about them. From here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-pro-and/a023b00b-508a-42e2-932b-4c39bc4ee171, i found this link https://liliputing.com/differences-between-windows-11-home-pro-enterprise-and-education/ that has a chart and is about 2 years old. Looks like a 4 or 3 way tie (if Refs is important/good)

Can Enterprise be bought with a one time payment or are they all subscriptions? Windows pro for workstations looks to cost $309. And I currently making a bootable usb for a 90 day trial of enterprise, but i'm not sure if it is regular (if there is one) enterprise, e3, e5, or e7?

Is there a better/more up to date comparison of windows 11 editions?

Wasn't expecting such a fast reply. I forgot to ask what exactly is Persistent Memory, SMB Direct, and AppLocker for? App locker seems to basically lock ppl out of certain programs, which isn't really necessary for me if that's all it's for. Not sure how the SMB direct would affect the build and not sure if it'd activate if this is not going to be a server build... do you need both requirements or just this?:
  • One or more network adapters with RDMA capability.
And is persistent memory any good? I do want to do a lot more with my new build like graphic design, video editing/rendering, adobe products, upscale gaming, etc. Not sure what this would affect.

Ok so after the trial, it'd make sense to go with pro for workstations, education, or pro?

Yeah i'm not sure how to feel about ReFS at all rn.
