First off, I'm sorry if i didn't post this in the right section, I couldn't find one on this topic. But anyway, I bought a GPU from XFX for my first rig. The problem is I'm going around trying to find the best deals on everything trying to save money, which I don't have that much of. I've got some money left but I'm waiting until my birthday in April so I can get some more money and get a better CPU. By that time the return policy on everything will have expired so if my GPU or anything else got damaged in the mail I will be in quite the pickle. I've got a plan in my mind to maybe video tape myself opening the box showing that it has not been opened before but other than that is there anyway that I can convince them to replace my card if it is broken? Thanks!

Unfortunately, no. There is no recourse. Rebates, Returns and Warranties are all based on the purchase date (you generally have to include a purchase receipt). If a component is faulty, you'll have to rely on the manufacturer warranty to get it replaced.

Yea you would I mean its normally preferred to buy your components all within the same time frame so if something does go wrong you can return it within a relative short period of time to get a refund or replacement really quick without having to go through the manufacture.
