Refurbished parts?

I plan on building a new gaming PC over the next few months and am looking into any deal I might be able to find. I have had a good history with certain refurb'd products such as my external sound card, and some other small gadgets.

Are there any parts (other than a soundcard) that I might be able to look into going refurbished (from a reputable dealer)?

I wouldn't unless it came with a decent warranty. Not a wise idea for computer parts. A lot of the recertified or open box stuff is things that have been sent back because the original owners couldn't get them working properly. Could be user error, or something else.
