regarding cpu upgrade for gigabytye GA-G41M-Combo (rev -2.0)

i have gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo (rev 2.0) with LGA 775 socket type

now i,m using Intel® Pentium® Processor E2180 (1M Cache, 2.00 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) on my board but i want to updrade with it
Intel® Pentium® D Processor 945 (4M Cache, 3.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)

No, that CPU is not supported.

Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33GHz Wolfdale is $25 on eBay.
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 is $15 on eBay.
