Hya dear readers!
Recently I bought a new desktop PC, which i'm trying to overclock the RAM for it, using XMP 1 Profile. unfortunalty im experiencing random game crashes. one day it can be fine (no crashes), and the other will crash after 10-15 minutes of gaming.
I tried learning RAM overclock myself, and im trying my best, but I thought of asking the proffesionals here.
These are the specifications:

CPU: Intel i9 11900K 3.5Ghz (base) - 5.3Ghz 16 CPU's - Memory types is DDR-4 3200.
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z590-E Gaming WIFI supports up to 5333Mhz frequency
GPU: Palit RTX 3070 Ti Gamerock OC 8GB.
Power supply: Antec 750W 80 plus Gold Modular
Cooling: Liquid cooling ADATA XPG Levante 360 AIO + 8 Fans where 1 of them is right above the RAM sticks.
Disk: WD Blue SN580 1TB NVMe Gen4 4150MB

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo RGB 16GB (2x8) DDR4 4800Mhz
*RAM Specifications:*

  • At G.skill website, under the RAM QVL section, there's a compatiabilty with ASUS Z590 motherboards.
  • Clock timings are 19-28-28-48
  • Voltage (under XMP) is 1.50V
  • Its a Dual Channel Kit
  • Tested Speed (XMP/EXPO) - 4800 MT/s
  • Tested Voltage (XMP/EXPO) - 1.50V
  • Tested Latency (XMP/EXPO) - 19-28-28-48
  • RAM sticks are located in slots #2 and #4

Under XMP the DRAM frequency is 4800.
I did a memtest86 with XMP profile (built-in version on the motherboard) and it failed (got >0 error regarding adrreses with only 1 bit being off the place)
BIOS and all other updates are the latest.
Also according to Armoury Crate:
  • VCCIO Mem OC Voltage - 1.53V approx.
  • PCH VCCIN 1.8V - 1.776V approx.
  • DRAM Voltage - 1.558V approx.
  • CPU System Agent Voltage - 1.344V approx.
  • CPU VCCIO VOltage - 1.072V
  • CPU Core Voltage - can be 0.663V - 1.111V

I'm really a newbie regarding RAM overclocking and overclocking in general, but I tried everything (in my scope of knowledge) to try and fix it.
I also tried ramping up the voltage to be 1.55V, memtest is failing with the same error results.

What am I missing? I really want to use the full power of the RAM I have, but is it even possible? I suspect I miss something due to the lack of my knowledge regarding the subject.
I'm stubborn to get to the maximum freqeuncy because it gave me a crazy 30-40 FPS boost on every game under maximum settings.

If there is any more inforamtion that is missing/can help you guys to help me, please let me know!

Thanks for the help in advance! :)

What BIOS version are you on at this moment of time?

BIOS and all other updates are the latest
Did you clear the CMOS if you've updated to the latest BIOS version and have verified that the BIOS is indeed updated to the latest version?

RAM sticks are located in slots #2 and #4
You mean slots A2 and B2, correct?

Antec 750W 80 plus Gold Modular
Mind sharing a link to the unit or at the very least stating the model of the unit? If the PSU's been in service for a while, please pass on the age of the unit.
