My pc with intel 58so has 2*2gb module from Crosair. I am planning to buy 4gb ram of same cas and frequency from Crosair. So is it ok to just add another 4b stick and will the full configuration be running under triple channel ? My budget is limited so there is no option to buy another 3*3 module :) :D

Thanks

No. I don't recommend it unless you have a copy of the Intel manual and it says the ram configuration will work. I just answered another post from a guy who couldn't get his new ram working on an acer board. Your board manual will tell you about possible ram upgrades and the proper ram slots to use.

Just buy another identical stick to what your have for a total of 2*3 total 6 gig until as such time you can buy another matching matching triple channel kit.
Also remember, you must be running a 64bit OS to be able to use more than 4gig of memory. If you have a 32 bit OS, adding more memory is useless.
