Regarding Sandy Bridge

So I asked a question earlier about which CPU I should upgrade to and I'm pretty sold on the i5-2500k for a upgrade. Just wanted to ask if it's even worth investing the extra $$$ for the i7-2600k for streaming purposes? I don't usually stream that often however I just wanted to see if it'll make a huge difference with streaming or even some photoshop (not intensive). Also how would it compare to a skylake CPU? I didn't really plan on upgrading to a skylake because of cost but I just want to make sure that I should even consider it at the moment; Thanks.

Unless you don't have a graphics card, you shouldn't necessarily upgrade a CPU unless it occasionally gets pinned at 75%+.
If you have a graphics card, I recommend upgrading that.

Regarding my previous thread, I am spotting a GTX 660; still runs like a beauty. I am planning on getting possibly a 970 or 1070 later down the road if it intrigues me.
