Question Regarding Toshiba satellite s55 c5274

I just want to know if my laptop supports an M2 SSD hard drive or should i buy a regular SSD 2.5" hard drive

First of all thanks for ur fast reply ,
Secondly, i did that when i was upgrading from 12 Gb RAM to 16 (in the manual it says not upgradeable) but i was able to upgrade and it works perfectly, that is why when i couldnt find anything regarding the M2, i thought i would ask

That's fair. The manufacturer spec does tend to err on the conservative side.
