Hail:

Win 10 Pro x64, clean install as of just now.

Tried to alter a key with Regedit, did all the right things, but the key refuses to accept me as owner, to allow me to change a value.

I added my account as admin, full rights, but nothing helps..
I can even check the full control box, and upon apply/OK Regedit accepts the change.

However, as soon as I try to alter the value... error.
"Cannot edit attributes: error writing the values new content."

Can someone give me an idea, or is there a tool that can unlock keys, please?
This is giving me a massive headache...

Thank you,.

The key that should remove quick access from Explorer...
It seems to be write protected, or protected in some other form.
I did manage to take control over it's master key, but that does not affect the underlayintg key, though I did toggle the box for all underlying keys...
The key itself refuses to accept me.
