Regedit causing bootloop?

Hi.

I changed some stuff in regedit, and after a reboot Windows told "inaccessible boot device". And after one more restart it started bootlooping. Is there a way to fix this. Even without the SSD connected i keeps bootlooping. I tried jumping the CMOS and removing battery. Can regedit cause a faulty mobo? It doesn't even get past POST

What did you change specifically?

Registry edits can certainly cause bootloops, but without your SSD connected (I assume your boot device?), it would be strange.

It was related to a game, so i guess it didn't cause it. I tried troubleshooting before POST bootloop

2. Or boot into Safe mode and edit the registry back
3. or boot from your OS install media, and see what happens with Repair

Booting from your install media happens long before Windows can go into a boot loop.
Similarly, getting into the BIOS happens long before Windows can do anything.

Booting from your install media happens long before Windows can go into a boot loop.
Similarly, getting into the BIOS happens long before Windows can do anything.

It's only turned on for half a second before bootlooping, i guess that's a hardware issue? So i have no chance of reinstalling windows?

All hard drives and SSDs are connected. Only PSU, CPU and 1 block of ram. Even without RAM it still bootloops. After the regedit i changed the priority off startup disk, and then it started bootlooping.

Hi.

I built a computer that after some issues started bootlooping.

It all started with the computer started booting up with the Windows issue message "Inassecible boot device". And then i tried to restart it, and after the 2nd or 3rd restart it started bootlooping.

The fans turn on for just half a second then shuts itself off, and then booting up again. I have checked for the following when booting up.

I have tried the following:

1.Removing all RAM, and run without, and a single RAM
2. Checked the CPU
3. PSU paperclip. It's a 600 PSU with only CPU fan and 2 more fans connected + GPU fans.
4. Jumped CMOS for about 1 min
5. Removed CMOS battery
6. Removed all essential hardware
7. Checked for short circuit in power button/pin

SPECS:
Kingston SSD
Intel Core i5
MSI TwinFrozr GTX 760
HyperX DDR3
Corsair PSU CX600

Sorry for the bad specs

Does anyone have a suggestion to what the problem might be?

Describe this 'boot loop'.

The cpu fan, 2 external fans and gnu fans start up half a second, and then shuts down. Then starts itself 1-2 seconds later. Checked if power pins were shorted. If CPU fan starts up the mobo is not all fried right? Also paperclip checked the PSU. It ran perfect before bios change

It seems you've changed both. Not just the Reg.

You'll have to reset the BIOS back to original condition. Look in your user manual for exactly how to do that.

Clear the CMOS to reset BIOS, by using a jumper, and i did that. I've tried breadboarding even without CPU and RAM. Does that mean it looks to be a mobo fault?

Is there a BIOS update available? If so, do that.

How do i BIOS update if i can't get past POST?

Probably time to get on the support forum for your motherboard.
Ask the manufacturer.

Even though i disconnected the connections from the case, if it has been connected to the power supply and then i disconnect the PSU and then connect the PSU it starts up itself even without me jumping the power pins. Is that a short circuit?
