Regedit has stopped firing

Regedit has stopped functioning ie type regedit in the Run box and it just
flashes the tree then disappears altogether...will not stay up. Sacnned for
viruses and even run sfc /scannow from the command line to no help/avail
HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPP!!

Task Manager, MSCONFIG, or REGEDIT disappear while opening

Hi Wes,

No that didn't do it because it was a webspy worm causing the problem.
Amazingly running Norton in safe mode and doing its virus scan did the trick
when running the same program in regular did not. HMMMMMMMMMMMM!

Sometimes running in Safe Mode allows deletion of baddies because they
aren't running. Glad to hear you got rid of it.
