Registry Help Please.

So I was a idiot and was trying to install some game and on the forum people were saying to use the Grant-Admin-Full-Rights reg file. And now when I right click any folder it gives the option of "Grant Admin Full Control" which is very annoying to me. Anyone know how I can fix it and make it go away?

Try a System Restore. Else put what you did back to how it was before you did it.

1. There is a regedit to undo the changes to the registry... notice the minus character before HKEY, that deletes the registry values and data you added/edited before. It's the second part of the page here:

Copy and paste it to a Notepad or Wordpad file and save it with a ".reg" file extension and next right click the file and select Merge.


2. Restore your Default Security Permissions according to instructions here:

3. Restore the System to a previous date.
