Everytime I start up my pc and play csgo about 20-30 minutes into the session I will go from 200-300 fps down to 20-60 fps with many freezes and I look at task manager to see csgo using roughly 30% cpu and my cpu being maxed out so i change the filter to see what's using it up and see regsvr32.exe originating in SysWOW64 which is changing to max out my CPU (i.e if my csgo usage goes down regsvr32.exe goes up).

I then force close regsvr32.exe in task manager restart my game and my fps is fine again for the most part however I notice Antimalware Service Executable going up to 10-20% usage which can be found in windows defender under the name MsMpEng.exe.

This issue only happens once throughout my pc being on.

Specs: i5 4690k (OC to 4.2ghz), GTX 970, 8gb DDR3 RAM, 1tb WDD Blue, 2tb WDD Blue, 500gb SAmsung EVO 500gb

I have run an antivirus check via AVG which came up with nothing.

If anything else is required then ask me in the comments and I should be able to supply you with the answer

Go to Computer and search there for your USB drive letter.
Note down the letter and close the notepad.

Once back in the command prompt window, please do the following:

Type in e:\frst64.exe and press Enter.
You need to replace e with the letter of your USB drive taken from notepad!
FRST will...

I did a scan with malwarebytes and whilst it did find 70 threats none of those were the regsvr32.exe so I'm going to try and do the clean boot now

FRST will start to run. Give him a minute or so to load itself.
Click Yes to Disclaimer.
In the main console, please click Scan and wait.
When finished it will produce a logfile named FRST.txt in the root of your pendrive and display it.
6. Look at the .txt file for Roots. It will also remove some viruses/roots if you have any.
