Regular BSOD - tcpip.sys

Hi,

I've randomly started getting BSOD's for what I assume is a driver issue. Stop codes vary but the most common is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED.

With the KMODE code it also said that tcpip.sys failed which would lead to a wifi driver of some kind but I can't find out which one.

I have a minidump file attached that may provide more info.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/UNP1.html

tcpip = transmission control protocol/Internet Protocol - my guess is its likely to be lan drivers that are to blame.

You could also run an AV test as well as that is a driver that would be attacked by a virus.

I will get someone to look at minidump file

I can't help you with this. Wait for additional replies. Good luck.

strange for it to be that program part given its brand new. The file is from 2018, I still suspect LAN drivers.

normal wish: I wish Logitech would update their web cam drivers (its not problem, i just wish they would) - they are from 2012.

do you use WiFi or Ethernet?
If Ethernet, try updating them here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/Downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&Langid=1&Level=5&PFid=5&PNid=13

notices gardenman didn't point out intel extreme tuning driver though its unlikely cause of this error

what are specs of PC? its odd for gardenmans program to not find any details of the PC?

Windows 10
Intel i5-4690K @ 3.50GHz
nVidia 970
MSI Krait Z79s
16gb Ram

Tried the realtek download, see if that helps. Haven't BSOD'd during typing this out so maybe :D
