Regular GTX 660 vs GTX 660 Superclocked?

I'm looking to update my video card from an HD 6670 and both the GTX 660 regular version and the Superclocked version are 190$ on Newegg. I was wondering if there is a significant difference in performance between the two and is a 500w Corsair PSU enough to run either of these cards? Which one should i get?

Also: will the i3 4130 bottleneck either of these?

500 watts is enough. and if they are the same price then grab the superclocked version. the difference is super clocked just means its coming overclocked from factory

as for your i3 bottlenecking the card...its borderline. will you be able to play games with the i3 and gtx 660? yes you will. but at the same time you would get better performance with a stronger cpu

If the prices are close go for the Superclocked version. I think 500w should be good but if you are thinking of doing SLI in the future you'll need a beefier power-supply like a 850w. i5 would be ideal but a i3 will be okay you may have some settings not as high if you were running an i5.

Go for the Superclocked version. And for ur power supply, 500w should be enough, but in the future, you will have to upgrade it if u plan on buying a new gpu. i would not recommend an i3. For the same price, you can get an amd fx series processor which will out perform it significantly for roughly around the same price. I would get a fx-8320 from microcenter if you have not picked it up yet, its on sale for $100.

from reading the original post. it sounds like he already has the i3 so it would be more costly for him to buy another mobo and cpu and then a gpu on top of that. if your stuck with the i3 right now. you can still play games with the gtx 660 and youll be fine. but maybe consider and cpu upgrade as your next purchase

Well thats a whole different scenario. The i3 would work, but i would advise you to upgrade the next time you upgrade your gpu (after the 660 off course)
