My PC is up to date, but i also have option for ''view optional updates'' and have 3 drivers to install there. One is for my LG monitor, second Intel-System and the third one is Intel-Other Hardware - Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3....etc

Do i need this ?

I leave all cumulative updates until i have to get them. If you click check now when you up to date, it might give you something thats not quite ready yet.
I grab version updates as soon as I see them, I don't want to wait...

sure, version updates could break windows but any of them can. Most of the time they are fine.

only if windows is nice enough to create a restore point before driver installs. It is meant to, same as it should make one before a windows update. whether it does or not is another story.
It is not recommended you install these updates unless you have a specific problem. As enticing as it seems, it can create havoc if your device fails to properly process the update. I learned this the hard way.:confused_old:
