Hello.

I come here in hope of some answers and help. I'll get straight down to it in order to not waste any of your time.

I wish to reinstall windows vista. I currently have Vista HP 32bit installed but have Vista HP 64bit that I want to install. Here's the problem, I've lost the CD key to the 64bit. (It seems to have fallen off the side of my case.) Is there a way to recover the CD key from the CD?

Second question.

How can I install straight from 32bit to 64bit? When I put the CD in it basically tells me no.

Yup use Speecy to get the key. Also, you CANNOT upgrade from a 32-bit to a 64-bit OS. A clean install is necessary. btw SIW can also fetch the key. That utility has a LOT of tools, but it can also get confusing if you don't know what you're looking for.
