Reinstall Messed Up My Activation Key

I reinstalled windows recently because I bought and had fitted in some new parts in my rig, these new parts were causing problems so I ended reinstalling windows, the reinstall seems to have rectified my issue however it appears to have created an issue of it's own.

My problem is that I reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM) and after it's third use the activation key won't work, I don't want to buy windows or an activation key again because I've already payed for windows and I've only ever used my copy on one rig but I've had to re-use it 3 times and this time it won't take my activation code so is there anyway around this or will I have to buy a new activation key? Also if I do have to buy a new activation key does anyone know of anywhere cheaper than [THIS]

Win 7 OEM - tied to that original motherboard. The only entity that can fix this is Microsoft. There is no workaround.
Call the phone robot and try to activate.
If that fails, call and talk to a human.
If that fails....then you will be buying a new OS.

An OS costs what it costs. Go cheap, and you end up like those guys.

Yeah if you replaced the mobo there inst really much you can do, it sucks. You can buy keys for pretty cheap off sites like kinguin, it is a little bit risky but with those sites they usually have policies which will let you be fully refunded if there is a problem. Paul from Paul's Hardware did a video about it and he has had positive results.

And why should I have to purchase 'insurance'? Are they implying that it might not work?
Purchase from a reputable, valid retailer, and there will be no issue.

OP - your solution is mentioned above.
Call MS, or purchase a valid OS.

You should have to purchase insurance, because that is the small trade off of buying the key for $80 less.

I replaced the mobo and was running windows 10 pefectly for a week but some drivers didn't work so I reinstalled my copy of windows 7 hoping to upgrade again, also I can't manage to find a way to contact a human on microsoft support
