Hi,

I've already found useful tips and help on the forum, even the (partial) solution to my problem but I feel I need some extra info before doing this:

I just finished building my pc (been a while since I did a build, working on laptop last 10 years) and installed windows 10 on it. My system has a SSD and a HDD, the OS was installed on the SSD. Because I already connected everything, I ended up with a partition on the HDD. I didn't know win10 did this, but found that out after searching the forum here.
Now I want to restart and do a clean install, this time disconnecting the HDD. But do I format/delete the partition from the HDD before, or can I just disconnect it as it is now (with the win partition), install win10, reconnect and THEN remove the partition on the HDD?
Appreciate the help.

Yes, that's what I found when I was researching the issue. Just wanted to know for sure if it was ok to disconnect after I already installed the OS and format afterwards. Got my answer ;-)
Thank you!
