Reinstall windows explorer for windows 7

I need to quickly reinstall windows explorer on windows 7. I am running an HP 8600 workstation 64 bit with 8 gig ram.

Windows explorer overall works, except when I right click to check properties of a file. It then crashes. I need to check a number of file dates and file sizes. This is important for me . Thanks for your help

There is no such a thing as reinstalling just Windows explorer. You can try a repair install with your Windows 7 disk.

You might want to run virus and Malwarebytes scans before you try the repair though. Could be virus related.
