Reinstall windws 8 on Ssd, Hdd untouched?

Hi,

I have a SSD in my laptop containing OS & important softwares, plus a HDD containing some data.
I plan to reinstall windows 8 on the SSD. Can I do it and still have all my data on the HDD?
Won't there be any problem of accessing these datas after the reinstallation is complete?

Just make sure to unplug the HDD before you install W8. When you're done you can plug the HDD back in and it should work as normal.

Typically you can access everything after the install, unless you've installed programs on the HDD, in which case you'll need to reinstall those programs onto the SSD.
