hi there, in time am looking at changing my motherboard and cpu

am looking at getting the asus 1155 pro v and i crnt find any information that relates to if i change my motherboard and use my current cpu chip do i have to reinstall windows due to my pc came with vista preinstalled so i dnt have a instalation cd for it,
if so do i have to reinstall windows if i change the chip instead,

or should i just get a new windows os (proberly windows 7 ulitiate 64 bit) with a cd then look in to this

my current motherboard is : Acer WG43M
and my cpu chip is: 2.33 gigahertz Intel Core2 Quad (think its the q8200)
750w psu
1gb gtx460 gpu
 
Windows XP 64-bit or Vista will give you more memory support than 4GB. Unless your Motherboard does support more than 4GB of Memory, you don't need the 64bit OS.

But you have to reinstall your OS, once you upgrade/change your motherboard. Otherwise it will cause OS repairing.
