Reinstalled widows. Now I cannot connect to the internet

Hey there.

I recently reinstalled windows xp on my Dell latitude D630. I am unable to connect to the internet now. I enabled the network adaptor. It is showing a speed of 400mbs but O received and 0 sent. I know this is a broad question but I can provide all the detail required if someone is will to work with me in regards to this problem. Im sure it simple to fix.

Did you install the driver for it?
Wired or wireless?

No I have not installed the driver. How do I install the proper drivers if I don't have a internet connection. Do I save it to a usb or cd?

Yes. Go to the website, save it to a USB, Plug that USB into the target PC. Install as needed.

So I went to the website. I found everything but.
The adapter is a 1394 Net Adapter
Driver product :Microsoft
Driver Date :7/1/2001
Driver version :5.1.2535.0
Digital sighner :Microsoft widows component publisher

Is there one that would work on that site that I over looked
