[SOLVED] Reinstalled Windows 7 Professional on a Dell Optiplex 9020 Desktop PC and unable top reload motherboard device drivers

I have a Dell Optiplex 9020 Desktop PC which just reinstalled Windows 7 Professional. The installation was normal. However, a number of the motherboard device drivers
disappeared. Among them is the Network controller driver so I do not have connection to the internet. I used another PC to download the Network driver from Dell.
When I attempt to load the driver, I get the following error message
"" The procedure entry point AddDllDirectory could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32dll"
Windows seems to be functioning properly . All functions were working properly before the reinstall.

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to succesfully load the device drivers.

Where did you get the reinstall? Is it the official Dell image or just win 7 from somewhere else?

It is a Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 CD from a licensed refurbisher

I replaced the hard drive and did a fresh install of Windows 7 and properly registered. All appears to be good .

As a side note, that 9020 is fully capable to run 10. Unless there is some specific reason you wish to stay on an unsupported OS....your key will likely activate Win 10 Pro.

Thanks for your comments. I am running some legacy software that does not run on windows 10. I have three Windows 10 PC's and prefer to leave one on Windows 7.
