So I installed windows 7, installed everything from the discs i got with my mobo and graphics card. After i install the cd from the graphics card i am prompted to restart the pc. Once I do so, the screen where i input the password is just black but i am still able to put it in. Once i put the pw in the screen changes to a smaller version the w7 background surrounded with a black box and no icons, nothing shows up... help?

EDIT: This is the graphics card i have. https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-gt6402gd3

This is what the screen looks like:

this is weird. does the computer still responsive (hdd activity light flickering, press shutdown and its shutdown normally, pressing alt+ctrl+del) or the computer is non responsive?
try booting to safe-mode. (just smash F8 repeatedly right after the bios startup 😛)

Computer is responsive. I clicked ctrl alt del and the screen went to a dark blue, clicked esc and it went back to this screen. Everything is working fine inside... I was just gaming on the pc this morning, had to reinstall because i found a keylogger. Don't understand how it can go from working perfectly to craping out like this..

ok, now that you can go in safe mode, try disabling all startup item on the msconfig or do diagnostic startup. windows button+R>type msconfig. look for startup tab then disable all. then try booting normally.
if the same thing still happened, try disabling all services that's not microsoft. from msconfig>services>hide all from microsoft>disable all.

gah..it's really strange. i'll suggest you reinstall that windows. but install the drivers one by one with a restart after each driver installed. i can't think of anything other than that. maybe some other ppl here with more knowledge can help. sorry mate 🙁
