I had to re-install my OS (windows Vista). Before re-installing my wifi connection worked fine. Now the connection in that computer is lost after a couple of minutes if I try to use the internet. I have followed the Microsoft help instructions but they are useless. Re-plugging the router, turning off any other equipment that might be interfering or keeping the connection too busy, moving to a different location, trying to diagnose and repair... all are useless.
Once the connection fails, I get the Connected with Limited Access status and only displays my network (instead of detecting all the available ones). If I disconnect and try to locate and re-connect to the network, Windows is unable to detect any networks. It is not a router problem as I have no issues whatsoever with any other device.

The only way I can get connected again (for 5 more minutes) is to shut down and restart the computer.
My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A200-1AG running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit OS.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Seems as though you have a driver issue. Try downloading the correct drivers from another computer and installing them with a usb onto your laptop. If it is not a driver issue, I would suggest checking the status of your router/modem lights. Do other pieces of hardware connect to the wifi ? If you are having issues with more than just laptop you may be looking at a power adapter issue.
