Reinstalling applications after moving to SSD

I just bought a new SSD and did a fresh install of windows on there, while not touching anything on my old HDD and simply booting from the SSD.

Do i need to reinstall anything that was already installed on the HDD other than drivers?

Also, can i now delete all the old windows stuff from what used to be the C: drive?

Some programs may work from another disk but majority of programs installed will have to be installed again. You'd be better off saving what ever you can and need from old disk, delete all partitions and start all over again or you'd waste a lot of space.
