My motherboard has onboard lan and wifi, and while attempting to remedy a "ethernet cable not plugged in ir broken" issue, I "uninstalled" the adaptor through device manager, but when I scan for hardware changes under action in dm, it doesn't pop back up. Any ideas on what to do?

Well, at this point I get better speed on 5ghz wifi than ethernet. Due to the fact that I use a powerline adapter :p for the time being I will stick to wifi, and if I get actual ethernet laid to where my PC is, I will buy an expansion card.

MB manual will tell you which one you have so go to MB manufacturer site and get a driver for it so you can reinstall it.

I have already done this, gone to my motherboard manufacturer's website and downloaded the drivers, but the download is for an Intel driver program, which when I run says it couldn't detect any Intel networking products in my system. My only idea is to but a networking card. I have already reinstalled windows, used the reset network feature of w10 to un and reinstall all the networking drivers, and nothing. Hopefully I can get a video of my issue.
