Question Reinstalling windows 10

Hello,

I’m looking to reinstall windows 10 onto an ssd and I’m wondering if this is safe for my game files, most of my games are on a different hard drive so I don’t mind if I have to reinstall them

Safe in which way? You'd have to reinstall them.

Having apps on SSDs is at least as safe as having them on HDDs. As with HDDs, you need to be conscious of space; I believe something like 15% of the total for free unallocated space is recommended by Microsoft.
