Reinstalling Windows 8, New SSD, Same Serial Key

Hello. So here's the situation.
Last month I reinstalled Windows 8 on my 128gb SSD in my custom built desktop. However, I've since decided that I want to get a bigger SSD because I really don't have enough space with just 128gb. If I buy a new SSD for my computer and try to install Windows 8 on that with the same disc and serial key will it activate alright?

It should activate, you might need to do a phone activation though. You will get a popup with instructions if that happens, when calling Microsoft just explain what you did and they will send you a new activation code you need to type in to activate.
