Reinstalling windows question

Hey guys, In a few months im going to be switching from AMD to a Intel cpu. I did some research and i found that i have to reinstall windows? How do i reinstall windows, I dont know how to do that so i hope one of you can help me answer this question.

I got windows 10 right now but I got a windows 8 reinstall disc.

Step 1 - What OS is this?

I got windows 10 right now but I got a windows 8 reinstall disc.

OK...Windows 10.

Read and do this before you do anything with the hardware:

This links the OS license to your MS account, rather than to specific hardware.
That takes care of the Activation.

Now, for the operation and the new hardware.
It may or may not boot with the new hardware.
Prepare for if you have to do a full reinstall of the OS.

Create a Win 10 install USB or DVD, here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

If it actually fails to boot properly, then you have this to do a full reinstall.
This also means all your applications need reinstall. Prepare for this.
