Looks good, but they seem to be largely repeating what happened in the
series. I was hoping for some new plot. Still, I will probably go to the
theater for this one.

Well, its the first movie in a kind of series of movies, so they have
to start somewhere. Also, there are probably a lot of people who have
never seen the series, so ... it is the same thing about the x-files
movie.

*raises hand*

I've never seen the series/any of the episodes... and I, for one, am
/extremely/ interested in seeing this when it comes out.

(Had heard about Firefly a long time before... but at no point have had the
opportunity to see what others spoke of.)

[cue rewatching of the trailer again... and again... and again....]

Well, the DVDs are available via Amazon. A friend of mine is very keen
on sci-fi and he told me about this series he had leeched off the
'net. I didnt find it interesting at first, but then I watched an
episode or two, and hell, it is very very good. Illegal copy, yes, but
both of us own the DVD sets by now, which are imported from the UK.

It seems as if one of the nine has not as much screen time as I would
have loved to see. But well, that is life and I am still hoping the
movie is being screened here. If not, then I will need a copy and the
original as soon as its available.

[cue shifty eyes]

*makes a mental note for future reference*

Hmm. 'one of the nine'... Book? *rifles through scattered data*

No, main characters. There are nine main characters.

Ah. So Book wouldn't be a main character? (Note to self: data corrupt.
Remedy at next possible opportunity.)

*smiles* Heh... yes, saw that earlier.

Gabe's (incidentally, always get their names confusingly reversed) line in
the last panel... very, very humorous.

Well, my computation was corrupt. Yes, Book I think is less visible
than he should be, judging from the way he acts and the story behind
him.
