Related to mw3. pls answer

i was playing my mw3 game , the 2nd mission was about to start then suddenly the screen turned black and when i opened the task manager , there was a dialog box saying DISK READ ERROR. Now what should i do.

MY PC SPECS:-

I2@ 2.93 GHZ CORE 2 DUO E7500
4 GB DDR2 RAM
LOTS OF HARD DISK SPACE
WINDOWS 7 64 BIT ( PIRATED VERSION)
1 GB NVIDIA GEFORCE 9400.

Pls help i spent 60 $ in rupees on it. And i am upgrading my computer so my parents wont buy me games for atleast a month.

Is your MW3 game installed in steam?

If so "verify game integrity". I have had this problem in MW2, it was because my graphics settings were on "extra", for some reason my drivers probably didnt like it.

If you get a "disk read error" again, run "mem test" and run a hard disk health check program.

it says 5 files failed and will be reacquired.

download the game from a torrent website burn it to a disk and play with ur OWN purchased steam code.

probably ur disc is defective or broken. might also be busted clusters in ur HDD
could also be a virus that corrupts files or 3rd party software
anyho ,

just download and reinstall . its not illegal if u have purchased the game
