release date on the 2070

anyone know of any release date for the 2017? like what quarter the 2070 graphics card will be released in I know will be 2017 but will it be 1st qrt. or 2nd or 3rd

wondering if the NVidia 2070 and NVidia 2080 will be out in the first quarter of 2017

No. If there are any new cards from Nvidia in 2017 I would expect the 1080 Ti and maybe a slight 16nm refresh at the end of the year. Unless AMD pulls something out of its hat soon, the GTX 1080 has no competition at all right now. There is no incentive to release anything faster.

Volta is slated for a 2017 release but Volta is for Professional cards. At least right now.

AMD are releasing new cards next year and if they do aswell as they say they are with there CPU's maybe this new CEO may actually make a difference and we will see some competition all around GPU and CPUs
